Sustainable University Day 2015 The University of St.Gallen hosts the Sustainable University Day 2015, taking place on March 18th under the special theme “Responsible Leadership – What is the contribution of universities”. The Sustainable University Day is carried out jointly with the Sustainable Development at Universities Programme, run by the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. This programme aims to strengthen the role of Swiss universities in promoting change towards sustainable development. Students, researchers, faculty, and other stakeholders in higher education are kindly invited to seize this opportunity to learn first-hand about integrating responsibility and sustainability into university teaching and to exchange experiences with other universities. In particular, participants can expect: • An introduction to the discussion by Prof. Dr. Dieter Euler (University of St. Gallen), • Workshops in nine parallel sessions on issues such as responsible leadership in teaching, especially in the fields of Accounting & Finance and Strategy & Leadership, • Keynotes by Prof. Dr. Uwe Schneidewind, President of the Wuppertal Institute, and Gabriele Zedlmayer, Chief Progress Officer, Hewlett Packard, • A Presidents` panel with Prof. Dr. Thomas Bieger (University of St. Gallen), Prof. Dr. Lino Guzzella (ETH Zurich), Prof. Dr. Dominique Arlettaz (University of Lausanne), Prof. Dr. Sascha Spoun (Leuphana University of Lüneburg).
